Im not sure about the electrical setup in the GP but if there's a relay for the fog lights and it's got a bad connection the light would show on the dash but the bulbs wouldn't light up. Andy Monty Moderator
My Fiat Punto 1.2, 60K mileage, 2006 year, seems to be having a problem. This morning when I started the engine, my dashboard lights didn’t go away, all the lights like abs, handbrake, engine, etc. are on, fuel indicator was flashing and pointing to empty (although the tank is almost full) no gauges were working, neither the signals.

If bulb is slightly loose - it'll. A - not work correctly (dim) B - Not work at all. which the system will pick up as there been tooo little of a draw been made! So the bulb malfunction warning is telling you have a bulb malfunction. If your unsure - check out the basic guide i've made for you / these instances. AngelaL. Ok I came across this message board and thread as I have the same problem. All was fine with my 2004 Stilo JTD until last week when my dash display died. Headlights and brake lights working fine, engine starts ok but driver airbag warning light is flashing and all dials (fuel guage, rev counter etc) are dead. Blue/Red, 12V supply from 7.5A fuse F50. 3. White/Green, connected to the "multi-timer unit". 7. Pink/Green, connected to the passenger airbag disable switch (other side of switch is earthed) 9. Violet/Black, to dash, passenger airbag disabled lamp. 10. Light Blue/White, to dash, airbag fault lamp.

So no light in the boot, but the wiring is there so picked up a light at the scrappys today. Fitted it but the light doesn't come on. Checked the bulb was ok then checked the fuse, f39 I think it was, and was ok too. Not had a chance to run a multi meter over the terminals to see if there is power there just wondered if anyone had any suggestions.

All those bulbs for the center console are on the same circuit its seriously not uncommon for the bulbs to pop They are tiny 1.2w bulbs - see the guide I'd advise again halfords as they are mega expensive vs online via ebay for example If 1 of the 4 lights is working behind there - then the circuits fine its just blown bulbs pliers = be careful
